The Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position helps support the overall efficiency of the kitchen and contributes to a safe, welcoming dining experience for our guests.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [20] pounds.
- Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment according to safety and sanitation standards.
- Keep dishwashing and kitchen areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Take out trash, recycling, and assist with maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness.
- Restock clean items in appropriate storage areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks as needed.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management.
