About The Position

Come join our energetic team at our Virginia Beach Location! Do you want to work in a fast-paced back-of-house environment, preparing dishes from an ever-changing and innovative menu? Can you remain calm and adaptable under pressure? Can you maintain attention to detail when in a hectic environment? If yes, New Realm Brewing Co. wants you to join our team as a cook, under our Executive Chef! Our ideal candidate will be collaborative, energetic and upbeat, self-motivated and disciplined. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, pots and pans, utensils, etc. via both machine-assisted and manual washing methods. You will also ensure that all relevant machines are in proper working order and that the operation is stocked with necessary chemicals. He/she will ensure that glassware, tableware, plates, etc. are stocked appropriately for colleagues’ use. He/she will assist in cleaning kitchen areas.

Responsibilities

• Be timely and dependable.
• Ensure that cleanliness and sanitation standards are met for glassware, tableware, smallware's, utensils, etc.
• Maintain a scrupulously clean, appropriately stocked, mechanically well-maintained workspace.
• Support BOH staff in their duties.
• Assist in preserving a safe and secure work environment.
• Follow all safety requirements and training with the dish machine.
• Consistently meet all best practice standards set in employee handbook and during training.
