FTE: . 4, Shift: evening , Schedule: 8 hr shifts Position Summary The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment in collaboration with the Dietary Aide and Diet Clerk.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Previous dishwashing experience preferred
- Washington State (DOH) Food Handlers card required
Responsibilities
- Utilizes proper techniques to load and unload the dishwasher to ensure proper sanitization while optimizing efficient use of equipment
- Scrubs pots, pans and any other equipment that cannot go through the dishwasher in a timely fashion
- Cleans and maintains equipment according to proper operating standards
- Cleans café grills, broilers, ovens and hoods as scheduled
- Tidies and clean café and kitchen at all times
- Keeps adequate levels of supplies stocked in area so the next shift has needed items readily available
