About The Position

As a Day Shift Dishwasher at Gibbet Hill Grill, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and ready for use by the kitchen staff. We are currently seeking a responsible, hard-working person to join our dish team for the day shift. Day shift dishwashers typically work 9am-4pm.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be able to follow instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

Operate the dishwashing machine to clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
Hand-wash dishes, pots, and pans as needed.
Sort and stack dishes and utensils in appropriate areas for storage.
Ensure that the kitchen and dishwashing areas are clean and well-maintained at all times.
Empty trash and recycling bins as needed.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
Help with other tasks as assigned.
