About The Position

About the Role & Program Disney Consumer Products (DCP) brings the magic of Disney’s beloved stories, franchises, and characters to families and fans around the world. From toys to apparel, books to games, our global marketing organization has a profound impact on The Walt Disney Company and the global markets in which we operate. With a portfolio of world-class franchises including Disney Princesses, Moana, and Frozen, we are a worldwide industry and category leader delivering innovative products that entertain and inspire. As the Global Marketing Strategy and Campaign Intern, you’ll contribute to the go-to-market strategies and execution of marketing plans across a variety of franchises and key initiatives that will help drive business goals and top-line demand! We work with key contributors and partners across marketing strategy, creative, PR & communications, Disney centers of excellence, franchise/commercial teams, and more. This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Glendale, CA area from June 2026 to January 2027.

Requirements

  • Skilled at developing strategic feedback, business proposals, and marketing communication plans
  • Proven experience in strategic development and project management
  • Creative- minded with the ability to encourage individuals and teams
  • Knowledge of marketing industry trends and innovations
  • Proven presentation skills, including deck development in PowerPoint and Keynote, storytelling, and scripting
  • Curiosity about global consumer products marketing activation
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines while at work
  • Must have the ability to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) Monday - Friday, for the duration of the internship
  • Being able to provide one's own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required

Nice To Haves

  • Junior or Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related major preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the development of marketing strategies and go-to-market plans aimed at achieving our business objectives
  • Assist in crafting comprehensive communication plans across the team to ensure effective messaging and coordination
  • Evaluate campaign creative and track approvals and status updates with external agencies
  • Dive into the analysis of business performance, helping uncover insights for informed recommendations and decision-making
  • Watch program and product budgets to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Collaborate with global and regional teams across marketing disciplines to deliver assets, campaign pitch kits, toolkits, and content while adhering to brand guidelines and project timelines
  • Provide insights into Gen Z trends and their ways of thinking, adding a generational perspective
  • Actively contribute to discussions and initiatives as an engaged and proactive team member
  • Be responsible for overall project management and assist with ad hoc requests from the team
