About The Position

If you’re nodding "yes," then the Disney Hospitality Leadership Program (DHLP) Food & Beverage position might be the perfect role for you! As a Disney Hospitality Leadership Program participant in Food & Beverage, you’ll oversee daily floor operations and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every Guest. You will be accountable for the performance of multiple venues and service styles, orchestrating seamless operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and Guest service.

Requirements

  • College senior, recent graduate, or graduate level student
  • Majoring in Hospitality, Tourism, Restaurant and/or Hotel Management, or similar.
  • Minimum one year demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the food and beverage industry, with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences across various types of service, including quick service, table service, and signature dining.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated strong written and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated strong computer proficiency within a Windows environment.
  • Minimum six months food and beverage experience
  • At time of application, must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the year.
  • Majoring in Hospitality, Tourism, Restaurant and/or Hotel Management, or similar.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
  • Must provide full work availability.
  • Must be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines.
  • Participants must be fully available for the duration of this 12-month program, June 2026 through June 2027.
  • All participants must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven knowledge of financial aspects of a food and beverage operation (budget, revenue, labor)
  • Prior or current experience within the hospitality, service or tourism industry.
  • Demonstrated multilingual skills, particularly Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Responsibilities

  • Directly managing the Guest experience on the floor through proactive table touching and interactive engagement, upholding Disney’s renowned service standards.
  • Ensure operational compliance with food preparation, food safety, and loss prevention protocols, as well as strict adherence to all applicable government health regulations.
  • Lead by example as you coach, develop, and inspire front-line employees, cultivating a culture of Performance Excellence and inclusion in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Lead conflict resolution efforts, providing thoughtful guidance when front-line teams encounter challenging Guest interactions.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with business partners and internal teams to deliver efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to professional excellence, while driving continuous improvement in all facets of the operation.
