About The Position

VIC the PICC ("VTP") is a specialized healthcare provider focused on vascular access consulting services to acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and home healthcare. We provide vascular access device insertion services, post access support services including declotting, line removal, port access and venous access troubleshooting. VTP also provides continuing education, precepting and other educational support to clinical team members and customers. VTP Holdings is seeking a reliable, part-time Dispatch Coordinator to join our team in Lodi, CA. This role is weekends only, in-person, with a fixed schedule of Saturdays and Sundays, 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM. Candidates must be able to reliably cover this schedule at least three weekends a month, preferably four. There is potential to transition to full-time in the future for the right candidate. Our dispatchers play a critical role in coordinating vascular access services for healthcare facilities and patients. You will take intake calls, gather facility and patient details, and dispatch the appropriate nurse while tracking ETAs, arrivals, and service completion. Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in dispatch, scheduling, or healthcare coordination (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and collect detailed intake information about patients and facility needs
  • Accurately input and track service requests while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Dispatch the appropriate nurse based on service type, availability, and location
  • Monitor field operations by tracking ETA, arrival times, and service completion
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all communication and coordination activities
  • Perform general office tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry
