About The Position

Dispatcher Overview: Looking to Trade Up? As a Dispatcher, you are in the most dynamic role within the industry. You are the heartbeat of the company and interact with all functions (call center, customers, technicians, and management) in support of your primary role: ensure calls are prioritized according to urgency and importance and the right technician is sent. You will also be the primary communication conduit and trusted advisor for technicians in the field - while they are responding to calls, you will provide updates on customers, service call requests, traffic, obstacles, and other requirements as necessary. Responsibilities: Assign service calls to technicians using sound judgment to make quick decisions based on job complexity, technician ability, and location Work closely with management to balance the workload for technicians Keep track of the technicians’ schedules and dynamically adjust as conditions change over the course of the day Interact with technicians regularly and act as a coach/cheerleader to keep them motivated Respond to special requests from customers related to jobs performed by a technician Follow up on all pending/recommended work Contact customers with parts pending and the status of parts What We Offer You: Robust benefits package – health, dental, vision insurance, 401k match, and more Paid Training, Paid Holidays, and PTO On-going training & development, & growth opportunities Work side-by-side with the BEST in the industry! Ability to work 7 AM to 4PM Monday - Friday (both with an hour lunch break). Prior Dispatcher experience, preferably within the home-service industry (HVAC, Plumbing, Electric) Microsoft Office Suite experience required Strong communication skills - written & verbal Able to multi-task, work independently, & strong organizational skills Familiarity with greater Peachtree City area

Requirements

  • Ability to work 7 AM to 4PM Monday - Friday (both with an hour lunch break).
  • Prior Dispatcher experience, preferably within the home-service industry (HVAC, Plumbing, Electric)
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Strong communication skills - written & verbal
  • Able to multi-task, work independently, & strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with greater Peachtree City area
