Job Summary We are seeking a visionary Distinguished Architect to lead the software strategy for our enterprise platforms. This executive-level role is responsible for defining the long-term software roadmap, establishing architectural standards, and guiding engineering teams in building large-scale, cloud-native, secure, and highly resilient systems. You will operate as the organization’s top technical authority—shaping platform strategy, influencing senior leadership, and driving architectural excellence across the entire technology ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in an architectural or principal-level leadership role.
• Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems or cloud platform services.
• Deep expertise in native cloud architectural patterns, microservices, APIs, event streaming, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong grounding in security architecture, scalable design, performance engineering, and cost-optimized cloud operations.
• Exceptional communication, executive influencing ability, and leadership presence.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating within Agile, Lean, or DevOps-driven engineering cultures.
• Familiarity with technology governance models for large-scale enterprise environments.
• Background in AI/ML, SRE practices, cybersecurity, or FinOps.
• Demonstrated ability to lead transformation and modernization initiatives at scale.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership Define and evolve the enterprise-wide software architecture vision, ensuring alignment to business goals and modern engineering principles.
• Act as a thought leader in distributed systems, cloud design patterns, platform architecture, developer experience, and emerging technologies (AI/ML, edge, automation).
• Advise senior executives on architectural risks, opportunities, and technology trends that inform strategic decision-making.
• Architecture Governance Establish, publish, and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and reference models across all engineering domains.
• Lead architecture review councils and ensure solutions adhere to principles of scalability, security, resilience, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate and recommend modern platforms, frameworks, and development approaches that improve velocity and operational excellence.
• Drive re-use and standardization of APIs, shared services, and platform building blocks.
• Technical Oversight Guide engineering teams in designing and delivering large-scale, cloud-native, event-driven, and microservices-based systems.
• Oversee integration strategy across data platforms, identity systems, internal tooling, and customer-facing digital experiences.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for high availability, fault tolerance, real-time processing, and strong observability.
• Define and maintain API guidelines and perform recurring architectural assessments across critical services.
• Collaboration & Mentorship Partner with product, platform engineering, security, SRE/operations, and data teams to deliver cohesive, future-ready solutions.
• Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of architectural thinking, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Promote cross-functional knowledge sharing, standardization, and alignment across all engineering groups.
• Innovation & R&D Drive experimentation with emerging technologies such as advanced cloud services, agentic AI, edge computing, serverless architectures, and automation platforms.
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and evaluate feasibility, scalability, and operational readiness for enterprise adoption.
• Identify opportunities to simplify the ecosystem and accelerate developer productivity.
