Work Shift: Second Shift - Manchester (United States of America) Work Shift Time: 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM Job Objective: Coordinate and perform tasks related to shipping and receiving of materials in the Distribution Department in an accurate and efficient manner. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year with Velcro USA as Distribution Associate II, or equivalent experience
Ability to lift to 40lbs unassisted
Certifications in both clamp truck and sit-down fork truck
ERP system knowledge
Demonstrated attention to detail
Effective time management skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude and flexibility in assigned tasks
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work well under pressure
Working knowledge of OSHA safety rules

Responsibilities

Commitment to Safety Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Promotes a culture of safety within the organization by leading by example and encouraging others to prioritize safety.
Promptly reports any safety incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel and contributes to the investigation process.
Active participation in safety-related programs and initiatives is required as necessary. This includes involvement in the safety committee on a rotating schedule, as well as participation in Risk Assessments, Exposure Hunts, department inspections, and change management activities.
Operate equipment like forklift, clamp truck, walkie stacker and hoist.
Performs receiving activities such as receipts entry into Oracle, resins receipt, loads from SOM inspect product for damage
Picks, stages, loads & ship confirms orders for internal Velcro Companies (VAP, SOM & VCI), including pick and scan outbound PC loads SOM
Provide shipping support by building pallets per standards, weigh wraps and corner boards pallets, execute order notes, records weights, and dims, shrink wraps, weighs, and dims pallets.
Creates and submits paperwork for export paperwork, paperwork for routing, consolidated BOL in x carrier records staging location
Packs outbound loads by securing loads with straps, TY guard, applies dunnage as required.
Plans dock space, creates, and applies loftware labels, escorts carriers, verify, loads product, obtain bol signature rate shops prepaid shipments and inspect outbound trailers for damage.
Perform daily billing functions arranges carrier appointments with CRS
Collects weight and dims for BOL
Assists Quality & Production with concerns by isolating product for inspection, moving it to MHTNONNOR in Oracle & releasing it to MHTFG when cleared
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Full time presence required.
Ability and willingness to be cross trained in any other functions as required or requested.
Excellent attendance required.
Ability to work overtime as required or requested including extended shifts and weekends.
