About The Position

Are you the steady hand that keeps a warehouse humming? Imagine owning the flow of materials from the moment they arrive to the second they roll onto a trailer. In this role, you’ll blend precision, safety, and system savvy to keep production supplied and orders shipped on time. Role snapshot Location: Saint Joseph, MI Reports to: Production Supervisor or Designee Core responsibilities Pull finished goods from assembly, complete required transactions, and stage for shipment. Receive and store inbound materials, recording inventory placements accurately. Post every move in Epicor to ensure reliable, real-time inventory. Operate industrial trucks (gas/electric) and material handling equipment—especially reach and counterbalance forklifts. Load and unload semi-trailers with care and speed. Support additional warehouse tasks and projects as assigned. What you’ll need to excel High School Diploma or equivalent. 6–12 months of forklift/material handling equipment operation; 1–3 months related experience in a warehouse or production setting. Clear understanding of accurate inventory transactions and cross-functional teamwork. Ability to learn or demonstrate proficiency with RF scanners, tablets, and ERP systems (Epicor preferred). Basic computer and data entry skills; follow written/oral instructions; solid math and a strong work ethic. Comfort using basic hand tools (air drivers, wrenches, etc.). Physical realities of the job On your feet most of the day—standing/walking 8+ hours. Long-distance walking throughout the facility. Climbing step stools/small ladders when needed.
