Distribution Specialist - (Part-Time-24 hours per week)
About The Position
As a Distribution Specialist, you are the final point of contact that ensures payroll payments are getting to our customers. Critical to our success, you review and properly prepare paycheck packages for shipping. Making sure they arrive to our clients accurately and on time. Receiving deliveries and coordinating supplies for building, wrapping, and sorting your outbound packages. Using modern technology systems to sort and prepare orders for expedited delivery. Since you are working on a team with other specialists- your daily contributions will rotate. Providing you variety and ownership in different phases of payroll distribution; all working together for successful product delivery.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Organizational skills, your attention to detail, your flexibility and your ability to multi-task
- General computer skills are a must
- Ability to stand and/or be on the move for the duration of your shift
- You are a team player, supportive, and helpful with your co-workers and clients
- Ability to work M-F with overtime including some evenings and weekends required
Responsibilities
- Gather reports and checks from the printers
- Follow client instructions and prepare information in a presentable package for our clients
- Responsible for organizing, maintaining, and retaining accurate records and manifests of all items packaged
- Maintain Fed Ex/USPS operating systems
- Assist our payroll specialist team with delivery instructions as needed
- Ability to work overtime during our busy seasons
- Supporting any ad hoc projects critical to our company success
- Duties and activities that require standing in one place for periods of time as well as walking the distribution center
