Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or customer service operations supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Either have or ability to obtain 49 CFR, IMDG, IATA, and FMCSA certifications to ensure regulatory compliance for hazardous material shipments
  • Ability to prioritize work; multi-tasking skills; detail oriented and good listener
  • Service focus; ability to deal with diverse personalities; negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in a fast - paced role and adapt to each customer’s style and requirements
  • Excellent English communications skills including ability to read, write, and speak fluently; ability to communicate with transportation workers and co-workers
  • Solid computer skills including SAP and Descartes, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel preferred

Responsibilities

  • Process Stock Transports and customer orders in SAP as required.
  • Plan and build LTL and TL shipments in Descartes TMS while utilizing destination and freight maximization.
  • Plan and build internal and external shipments to ensure supply chain sustainability.
  • Support FEUS Transportation and Planning Manager with internal and external shipping requirements as required in SAP and Descartes.
  • Support Pueblo Operations including Planners, Warehouse, and Customer Service sustain internal and external supply chains as required.
  • Completes all EHS and organizational requirements as required.
  • Supports FEUS Organizational goals and objectives such as KPIs focused on OTD, Freight efficiency, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position, such as carrier reports, SCAR’s, incident reports, problem solving, critical thinking, and 8D’s
