Position Summary The District Asset Protection Leader (DAPL) implements asset protection objectives and administers asset protection programs. The DAPL provides assistance and training to the field operations teams to address specific asset protection issues with an assigned span of control. The DAPL drives results by forging strong business relationships and working in a team environment to service internal and external customers. The DAPL reports to the Regional Asset Protection Manager who reports to the Divisional Asset Protection Director. The DAPL is aligned with the District Leaders(s) from the field Operations team. This role supports districts in Maryland. (20-25 stores)

Requirements

  • Travel onsite to stores in Maryland, 90% car travel.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail asset protection/loss prevention management
  • 2+ years of experience with multiple store responsibility
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS in Criminal Justice, Business Management or Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Word and Excel knowledge is required
  • Knowledge of conducting legal and ethical investigations
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to function in a team environment
  • Give as well as accept constructive criticism
