Sodexo is seeking a results‑driven District Manager 2 to lead student nutrition operations across multiple K‑12 school districts within the Indiana and Michigan region. This leader will shape strategy, elevate operational performance, and strengthen client partnerships while guiding a team of managers and frontline teams. The District Manager plays a pivotal role in driving service excellence, operational consistency, and financial success across a diverse portfolio of sites. Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi‑unit foodservice operations within K‑12 child nutrition programs in alignment with USDA regulations.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance metrics
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and develop diverse teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
  • Experience building client relationships in contract or service‑focused environments
  • Willingness to travel within the region
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience – 7 yearsMinimum Functional Experience – 7 years

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, planning, and operational direction across student dining programs
  • Drive financial performance, ensuring budget adherence and growth goals are met
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and hourly teams to support engagement and operational excellence
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and business growth
  • Oversee compliance with safety, food quality, and regulatory standards
  • Partner with the SVP and client leadership on initiatives, strategic planning, and continuous improvement
