This position is responsible for managing, developing and motivating Sales Consultants, implementing sales plans, achieving company and/or supplier goals, monitoring, developing and maintaining account relationships and performing various administrative duties.

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable of wine and beer beverage industry
  • Minimum 3 years field sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all functional areas and organizational levels
  • Strong organizational, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Satisfactory driving record and active driver’s license for the state you reside in
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, IE: Vlook-ups, “If Statements”, Pivot Tables, etc…
  • Candidate must be pass criminal background and MVR

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and/or prior management experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Software applications: PowerBI, On Track POS Ordering system, AS400, Viva Engage, Pocket Advantage, DIPA, etc..

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly
  • Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals
  • Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings
  • Monitors and evaluates products and activities of competition
  • Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs
  • Coach and lead a team of Sales Consultant to achieve monthly execution objectives, revenue, and case sales targets
  • Ability to pull and analyze sales data to identify sales opportunities and create concrete plans to deliver revenue and case results
  • Set weekly Sales Trainee Schedule
  • Execute Store Resets
  • Cover Sales Routes if necessary
  • Conduct weekly/Bi-Weekly sales meetings w/your team
