About The Position

Curtze Food Service i s seeking to hire a self-starting f ull-time Food Service Sales Representative . Are you a sales and customer service guru? Commissioned personnel can then earn anywhere from $55,000 - $100,000+ a year . With unlimited earning potential , this is a terrific opportunity for someone who wants to work in the field but manage their own schedule . DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES REPRESENTATIVE As our Sales Consultant, you sell our highest-quality food service supplies and equipment to restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other institutions. You get to participate in meetings, industry trade shows, and new product presentations. Proactively, you perform cold calling to find new business. You maintain regular contact with existing accounts and communicate regularly with supporting departments. By regularly meeting with customers and consulting with them on their menus, you build strong business relationships. You also take customers' food orders and follow up on next-day deliveries. You utilize your customer service skills to develop accounts and expand customer opportunities. To do this, you propose new menu ideas, assist in resolving issues, encourage client participation in food shows, and introduce customers to our product specialists. Through researching industry information and customer needs, you provide appropriate prices, product information, sampling, and follow-up when needed. You are also responsible for assisting in the credit management of customers, making sure they remain current with their payments and invoices. You enjoy engaging with clients and helping them with all their food service needs!

Requirements

  • A motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • Record of sales achievements
  • Food service experience
  • Experience in general management, food service management, outside sales management, or a related field
  • Passion for sales
  • A can-do, winning attitude
