About The Position

Looking for a great sales opportunity with a growing company? This is the right opportunity for you! Sells commercial services to achieve or exceed minimum expectations for revenue and profit. Uses various methods to prospect for new customers, including cold-calling. Builds and Maintains thorough CRM on prospects and customers. Ensure payment and invoicing details are collected to keep all accounts current. Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • US citizen or alien authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to work before 8 AM, after 5 PM, and/or on weekends.
  • Read, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Valid motor vehicle chauffeur’s license.
  • No more than three speeding tickets in last three years.
  • No citations for driving while under the influence within last three years.
  • One year of successful pest control sales experience.
  • Use of effective and accurate oral and written communication.
  • Manage time and prioritize work under changing circumstances.
  • Promote cooperation, build teamwork, and resolve conflict effectively.
  • Use hand-held devices to accurately document details of services to be performed and payment/invoicing information in customer accounts.
  • Attend training necessary and pass exams to obtain and maintain licensing and certification as required by law.
  • Properly maintain company vehicle and keep it clean and organized.
  • Represent company, products, and services in a positive manner.
  • Sales building processes and practices, especially time and territory management.
  • Knowledge of pests, rodents, and other vermin.
  • Knowledge of pest control products, services, and treatments.
  • MS Windows computer operating system and MS Office software or equivalent.
  • Closing sales within small, medium, and large prospect organizations.
  • Ability to quickly learn and use new technologies/software as required.
  • Enter/exit structures and crawl spaces.
  • Climb over and on top of structures.
  • Ascend and descend stairs.
  • Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Visually inspect for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.
  • Communicate pest issue and potential solution or method of extermination to customer and answer questions as needed.
  • Tolerate variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations.
