Division Head Ophthalmology
About The Position
The Division Head of Ophthalmology’s responsibilities will include a combination of administrative, clinical, research and educational duties. The Division head is responsible for the overall day to day management of a broad range of clinical and educational activities, administrative and strategic efforts. This role will provide visionary and innovative leadership to guide the division into the next phase of growth and development while ensuring the delivery of superior and comprehensive clinical Ophthalmology care in a rapidly changing medical landscape. The Division Head will be expected to lead a team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers and health care staff of the Division and work collaboratively with the Medical Director of the Division (if there is a medical director) and other Divisions in carrying out the mission of the Organization. Additionally, the Division Head will be responsible for encouraging academic advancement within the Division as well as monitoring overall divisional budget, strategy and fostering an environment of professionalism. Responsibilities
- overall day to day management of a broad range of clinical and educational activities, administrative and strategic efforts
