About The Position

The Division Administrator provides strategic and operational leadership for multi-surgical practices, including off-site locations, ensuring efficient workflows, high-quality patient access, and financial performance. This role oversees practice operations, staff supervision, and divisional project management, including cross-coverage for Division Administrators and the Revenue Cycle management team, to drive practice optimization, benchmark performance, and growth initiatives. The position requires extensive experience in surgical practice operations, surgical billing, coding, and revenue cycle management, along with strong analytical skills using Power BI and IQVIA, to support data-driven performance improvement, process standardization, and operational excellence across the division.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of healthcare operations leadership experience, including prior billing manager, revenue cycle, or coding oversight roles.
  • Proven experience supervising multi-site practice operations and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and leading operational initiatives.
  • Strong revenue cycle knowledge, including surgical billing, coding (CPT, ICD-10, modifiers), charge capture, and collections.
  • Advanced analytics and reporting skills using Power BI and IQVIA.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (MHA, MBA, MPH) preferred
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-specialty surgical practices, EHR systems, and ambulatory surgery operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily operations across multi-surgical and off-site practices, ensuring efficient workflows, staff productivity, and high-quality patient care.
  • Provide cross-coverage for Division Administrators and the revenue cycle management team to maintain operational continuity and alignment with organizational standards.
  • Oversee and execute divisional project management initiatives, including operational optimization, process standardization, and strategic growth projects.
  • Analyze operational, financial, and revenue cycle performance using Power BI dashboards and IQVIA data, translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Monitor and optimize surgical billing and coding practices (CPT, ICD-10, modifiers) to maximize charge capture, collections, and compliance.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives across clinical, administrative, and revenue cycle workflows to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Manage referral operations, case scheduling, patient throughput, and operational readiness for growth initiatives.
  • Support capital planning, operational projects, and ROI analyses for equipment, technology, and practice expansion.
  • Prepare and present actionable operational, financial, and analytical insights to physicians, practice leadership, and executive teams.
