Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license and in good standing with the Florida State Bar.
• Minimum 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Superior research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Empathetic communicator with a client-first mindset.
• Familiarity with Florida state court rules and procedures.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background).

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law litigation matters, including divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence cases.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct depositions and attend court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Analyze case law and statutes to develop legal strategies and provide informed counsel.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Manage a full caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.
• Collaborate with firm leadership and team members on complex cases and firm initiatives.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
