About The Position

Citizens Health is recruiting a delivery driver and clerk to work in Durable Medical Equipment. A company vehicle will be provided to make deliveries. Location: Citizens Medical Equipment Colby, Kansas Responsible to the DME Manager. Days: Monday through Friday Hours: 8am through 5 pm Pay Range: Dependent upon experience.

Requirements

Highschool Diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for the past three years.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers and the public.
Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
Ability to communicate clearly.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
Self-starter who takes initiative, is open minded and a team player.

Responsibilities

Review delivery documentation to ensure that all information is accurate and complete and manage the flow .
Coordinate delivery and pick-up of home medical equipment for client/patients, and ensure that the client/patient and/or caregiver can demonstrate knowledge of proper operation of the equipment.
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with client/patients, and maintains professional appearance.
Record client concerns and complaints, and forward to appropriate department for action.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely deliveries; maintain lot number tracking; comply with recalls.
Review all cleaning, maintenance, vehicle, and MSDS records for accuracy and compliance.
Creates a positive, supportive work atmosphere.
Perform the duties of an CME technician/delivery driver as required.
Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in compliance with Company policy.
Oversee proper cleaning, maintenance and repair of home medical equipment.
Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
Adheres to organization policies and procedures.
