As a key member of the Field Services Team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward through transforming patient care and creating better patient outcomes. This position will be responsible for administrative/clerical tasks supporting Enovis’ Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Team (e.g., preparing, indexing, and cataloging documents), and other day-to-day tasks required to ensure the office is operational, organized, and running smoothly, in addition to providing in-office patient care and proper fitting and education of all Company products.

Requirements

  • A passion for providing excellent care to HCPs and patients, along with a strong desire to be part of a team dedicated to achieving extraordinary patient results.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance reimbursement/DME medical billing requirements.
  • High School or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe.
  • Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • An associate degree from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
  • Demonstrated patient care experience.
  • Working knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and orthotic products.
  • Previous experience with inventory management programs and/or EMRs.
  • Holds and maintains applicable professional credentials, such as active Athletic Training licensure, Board of Certification (BOC), American Board for Certification (ABC) Certified Fitter-orthotics (CFo), Physical Therapy Certification (PTA), or related.

Responsibilities

  • Manages faxes and FedEx deliveries and shipments; works with third-party vendors to ensure office is operational; collects mail, scans content and disseminates to the appropriate department; responsible for light office cleaning.
  • Responsible for application, education, and appropriate use/care of orthopedic soft goods, functional bracing, and all other Enovis products prescribed by HCPs; coordinates patient care for follow-up brace fitting appointments; responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits and collecting patient out-of-pocket costs.
  • Assists with entry level data entry tasks; prepares file packets for entry into imaging system; indexes scanned documents; sorts, matches, and prepares appeals, claims, and other documents. Serves as a point of contact for contracted payers and accrediting agencies during on and offsite visits or audits.
  • Adheres to all Enovis Compliance and Ethics Programs, OIG, government healthcare regulations, regulatory policies and procedures set forth by clinic/hospital, and HIPAA in accordance with government agency requirements.
  • Coordinates patient care for follow-up brace fitting appointments, as necessary.
  • Supports inventory management, including organizing and tracking inventory, participating in required audits of inventory, and managing defective product returns and exchanges.
  • Ensures accurate completion of appropriate forms and documentation through Enovis’ secure automation platforms for delivery to the appropriate billing department, following all necessary compliance and regulatory processes, as well as applicable Enovis policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for verifying patient insurance benefits using available real-time automation tools, including pre-authorization of claims and/or upfront collection of patient deductible and coinsurance amounts, as required by individual insurance contracts and/or by Enovis policy and procedure.
  • Collects patient out-of-pocket costs for services rendered/products provided using automated business transaction tools within Company guidelines.
  • Works within customer Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, when available, to access appropriate patient information required for Enovis billing, as well as to read and understand medical records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
