We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated team member to deliver both routine and advance casting and splinting services to support patient treatment and recovery at our Main location - 555 N. In this role, you’ll take the lead in applying and fitting splints, braces, and a variety of Durable Medical Equipment (DME), while also providing hands-on care such as suture removal and appropriate wound management. You’ll guide patients in the proper use and maintenance of equipment—including braces, crutches, canes, and walkers—and ensure all Proof of Delivery documentation is completed. Your attention to detail will shine as you accurately document care and related charges in the electronic medical record. You’ll also help keep the clinic running smoothly by preparing and maintaining DME and supply rooms, and stepping in to room patients when needed to support efficient clinic flow. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and procedures

Responsibilities

  • Apply and fit splints, braces, and other Durable Medical Equipment (DME)
  • Remove sutures and provide other wound care as applicable
  • Educate patients on the use and care of DME such as braces, crutches, canes, walkers and other equipment and ensure patients sign Proof of Delivery (POD)
  • Document the care administered and charges into the patient’s electronic medical record
  • Set-up, prepare and maintain DME and supply rooms
  • Room patients when needed to maintain clinic flow.
