About The Position

Car Pros is seeking a detail-oriented DMV Clerk (Title Clerk) to join our team. In this role, you will process vehicle sales documentation, prepare title and tax paperwork, and ensure accurate and timely submission of legal transfer documents to the Department of Licensing (DOL). The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to manage documentation accurately in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret instructions and information
• Typing speed of at least 45 WPM
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• Automotive dealership or automotive accounting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process vehicle tax and title documents in a timely manner
• Submit legal transfer documents to the Department of Licensing (DOL)
• Process paperwork received from the Finance & Insurance (F&I) department
• Prepare stock cards for new and used vehicles
• Post vehicle sales and purchases in dealership systems
• Input and maintain accurate inventory control information
• Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
• Prepare and process trade-in documentation
• Report new car sales to manufacturers
• Register extended service policy contracts
• Maintain and update customer name and address records
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers and the public
• Follow company policies including compliance, dress code, and ID badge requirements
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
