Responsibilities  The Document Management Specialist electronically creates, revises, manages, stores, and archives documents for clinical services, product lines, and other organizational departments for the support of resident/patient care and operational functions. Assists clinical service leaders in executing clinical initiatives, programs, policies, goals and strategic functions. Assists with the creation, implementation, revision, and storage/archiving of clinical service policies, procedures, and other documents that support the Assisted Living, Dementia Care, Skilled Nursing, and Brookdale at Home product line/service areas. Collaborates with subject matter experts to develop user centered documentation to assure compliance with regulatory requirements. Formats and compiles documents for ease of end user electronic access. Provides quarterly updates in service area policies/procedures and communicates these documents in a timely manner to the clinical and operational teams. Performs searches for information across databases and other online repositories to gather and analyze data. Utilizes project management skills by assisting clinical service nurse leaders or other organizational departments in document preparation for state or other regulatory agency requirements for resident/patient care functions. Works collaboratively with other team members to achieve team, clinical services, and organizational goals. Participates in training, in-services and meetings when required. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED certificate with at least two or more years of related technical experience in office, Information technology, or technical certification in document management; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
