About The Position

Provide hybrid advice to business/client units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters. Initiate, track, and monitor contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, while maintaining associated documentation.

Requirements

  • Contracts administration.
  • Knowledge of FAR and Federal Contracts.
  • 7+ years of experience with DFAR.
  • Cradle-to-grave contracts experience, including risk management.
  • Experience presenting to Executives and Contracting Officers.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • 7 years of Contract Management experience, including negotiations.
  • 4 years of experience in a government contracting environment.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions.
  • Identify risks and issues, and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution.
  • Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
  • Prepare and disseminate information regarding proposals, contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Manage the contract day-to-day by advising on strategic direction, contract interpretation, and consequences of action/inaction.
  • Proactively resolve issues and disputes, minimize potential for litigation, and foster protection of reputation.
  • Act as a liaison between the client, project team and/or business unit, and Legal to ensure all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
  • Implement contract management processes.
  • Inform the project team of the contract requirements and monitor compliance.
  • Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for engagements.
  • Achieve a reasonable understanding of major business areas to communicate effectively with project Senior Executives and provide relevant advice.
  • Provide training to Contract Management or program personnel when needed.
