About The Position

The intern will collaborate with a team of research scientists and engineers onprojects focused on understanding and preventing failures in drivetrain and othertribological components. These projects will involve developing test methods toevaluate material failure in tribological systems, conducting experimentalinvestigations using measuring microscopes and profilometry, and setting uplaboratory experiments to simulate real-world conditions. The primary goal is toreplicate failure mechanisms in a controlled environment, analyze materialbehavior, and generate insights that contribute to improving the durability andreliability of engineering components. Through hands-on experience withadvanced characterization techniques and experimental setups, the intern willgain valuable skills in materials science, tribology, and failure analysis.
