Adamas Building Services is looking for an exceptional customer service-oriented Door Attendant with experience working in luxury residential communities. Our company is a leading expert in the Residential Services market with properties throughout New Jersey, New York, and Florida. We currently have an opening in our Jersey City, NJ location. Schedule: Part-Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour to start. After 90 days: $17.00 / Hour The ideal candidate would be responsible for: Acting as a liaison between the parking attendant, residents, guests and concierge staff. Meeting and greeting all guests and directing them to the Concierge to sign-in Opening door to anyone with packages, strollers, shopping carts etc., in their hands. Keeping track of carts when not in package area, returning carts to the appropriate area, and inspecting carts for cleanliness. Assisting with laying out carpets during bad weather and using umbrellas during rain or snow to assist visitors from their vehicles into the lobby area. Ensuring the lobby area is clean and free of debris. Inspecting outside area and ensuring that doorway and immediate outside area is free of debris. Interacting professionally with the parking attendants and assisting residents/guests in and out of their vehicles. Answering inquiries on neighborhood services when applicable. Covering the front desk as needed

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a client-facing customer service role preferably in a high-end or luxury service environment.
  • Must be professional, reliable, and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Dependable, punctual and able to work flexible working hours
  • Should be computer savvy with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet
  • Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
  • Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.
  • Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays.
  • Must be able to remain in a standing position 90 percent of the time.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the building to access handle packages, to assist residents and their guests.
  • MUST have reliable transportation.
  • Must pass comprehensive background check.
