About The Position

Under the direction of the theatre management team, the Doorman is responsible for greeting arriving and departing guests and directing traffic in the theatres ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and cleanliness of the theatre. Tasks will be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner. This position reports to a member of the theatre management team or General Manager (reporting may vary by location).   • Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Greet arriving and departing guests, direct traffic at the main entrance of the theatre
  • Control access to the theatre by verifying ticket purchases
  • Perform daily maintenance duties, including daily stocking of supplies
  • Make certain guest service is friendly, helpful and fast
  • Enforce ratings to keep underage guests from accessing auditoriums with adult content
  • Monitor associate and guest behavior in and around the lobby
  • Assist with crowd control and seating of guests in auditoriums when necessary
  • Assist with attending to the cleanliness of the lobby and surrounding areas
  • Follow instructions on safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials
  • Answer questions from guests and resolve any concerns
  • Uphold Marcus' high standards and execute company-wide programs
  • Assist with other functions as instructed by the General Manager or a member of the management team
