Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineer(s) to develop Hot Section Jet Engine parts.
• Verify complete accuracy of parametric 3D Siemens NX models and definition.
• Ensure accurate part interrelationships through tolerance and geometric studies.
• Participate on IPT's as Product Definition delegate.
• Prepare/Maintain various product related Teamcenter/NX Manager data in support of PW Class I and II Engineering activities.
• Act as mentor/coach and provide training to lower-level Product Definition practitioners.
• Accountable to CIPT for part-level planning and execution, including communication, risk management and execution to program requirements.
• Provide support and leadership to F135 Nozzle and 3BSM IPT.
• Plan, propose and execute development, production and sustainment improvement tasks.
• Interface directly with a wide team spanning all portions of the F135 program.
• Communicate with the F135 leadership and government contract on a weekly basis.
• Travel up to 10%.

Requirements

• AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant Product Definition experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• Must be a U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Strong skills in NX and Team Center tools and processes.
• Strong communication and teaming skills.
• Experience in Turbine Airfoils is a plus.
• An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Proficient with ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
