Listen to the customers needs, what is driving their desire to renovate, remodel or change the space they are in. Only then can a designer fulfill their role and create a space that uniquely fits the needs of the client , while keeping a keen eye on the budgetary objectives of the project . With a well-thought design , a project can be streamlined and provide a smoother customer journey for the client and make the jobs of all those working on the project easier , when follow ing a good plan. In the role you will: Manage , engage, and supervise the entire design process Design and draft building components to the needs of the client. Develop quality business relationships with project managers, architects, and MEP contractors. Coordinate structural or MEP plans as needed Keep all stakeholders informed of the progress of the design phase of the project Develop and maintain templates for consistency and overall visual quality of projects Update numerous architectural , MEPs drawings into NBCs database Correct discrepancies between submit drawings and as-built specifications Follow up with stockholders making as-built notations and correcting originals as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture
• Degree from a technical college also acceptable
• Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD)
• Ability to work well in a team and on your own
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Ability to draw manually favorable, but not essential
