As a Driller Assistant, you will be the boots-on-the-ground support for drilling operations, supporting experienced drillers in challenging outdoor environments. This role demands physical strength, endurance, and a willingness to get dirty. You'll be part of a team that values grit, reliability, and a strong work ethic, contributing to projects that require precision, toughness, and adaptability. Assisting drillers in the field with setup, operation, and breakdown of drilling equipment Handling and transporting field samples and equipment (routinely lifting 40-50 lbs) Navigating rough, uneven terrain in remote locations Working in hot summers, cold winters, and everything in between Traveling overnight for out-of-town assignments as needed Occasionally working outside of standard business hours This role requires extensive, continuous travel as a core part of the job. Assignments are based at project sites rather than a fixed location, with frequent time away from home; hotel accommodations and per diem are provided. Work is performed outdoors in physically demanding, dirty, and unpredictable environments, and project schedules and locations regularly change based on operational needs.
