About The Position

We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Driver/Custodian to join our team in supporting adults with developmental disabilities. Position Summary: The Driver/Custodian plays a vital role in the daily routine of our clients by providing safe and courteous transportation to and from their Work and Adult Day Programs. In addition, this role helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at our facilities.

Requirements

Valid Class E driver’s license
Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening
Ability to lift and assist individuals with mobility challenges
Reliable, patient, and professional with strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus

Responsibilities

Safely transport individuals to and from day programs and work sites using agency vehicles.
Maintain a consistent transportation schedule and ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.
Assist clients on and off the vehicle as needed, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.
Perform general custodial duties including cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance of facilities and vehicles.
Report any safety concerns, vehicle issues, or changes in clients’ behavior to supervisory staff.
Comply with all local and state driving regulations and agency policies.
