TB DRIVER EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR
About The Position
As a Driver Education Instructor, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and create a positive learning environment. You will also use your strong organizational and time management skills to develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students. Your ability to provide hands-on driving instruction and evaluate student progress will be critical to helping students develop their driving skills and knowledge. Additionally, your proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction will help you deliver engaging and effective lessons. Union membership is a condition of employment. Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Completion of a driver education instructor training program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience teaching driver education to students of all ages
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience using technology to enhance instruction
Responsibilities
- Teach students the rules of the road and safe driving practices
- Provide hands-on driving instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of individual students
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their driving skills
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance
