About The Position
General Description We are seeking a dependable and professional Per Diem Driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for employees to and from designated work-related locations. This role supports operational continuity by ensuring timely, secure, and confidential transportation services as needed. Location Rochester Resource Center at 1000 University Avenue, STE 500 Position Details Per Diem/as-needed Hours will vary based on operation demand May require flexibility, including early mornings or evenings
Requirements
- Valid New York State driver’s license in good standing
- Clean driving record (subject to motor vehicle record review)
- Minimum 10 years of driving experience
- Ability to pass background screening consistent with NY law
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Ability to assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle, if needed
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to enter and exit vehicle repeatedly during shift
- Ability to provide light assistance to passengers, if required
Responsibilities
- Safely transport employees to and from assigned work-related destinations
- Comply with all New York State traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain a professional, courteous, and discreet demeanor at all times
- Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections before and after trips
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues promptly
- Accurately log mileage, trip times, and any incidents
- Immediately report accidents, safety concerns, or violations
- Follow all company safety, confidentiality, and conduct policies
