About The Position

The Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes in a safe driving manner, checking in orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Medical DOT Card
• Minimum one year of experience required
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and DOT regulations
• Strong time management and customer service skills
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
• Checking in orders to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
• Accepting payments on occasion
• Providing excellent customer service
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record including E-logs when required
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
• Having the customer sign for the delivery and noting on the invoice any product not on truck, damaged or refused
