Driver (Part-Time)

About The Position

CarShop is seeking a responsible, self-motivated, hardworking driver to join our dynamic team. This individual will safely drive our automobiles to various locations, move vehicles on CarShop lots and perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

While performing job duties, associate must have the ability to walk various distances.
Must upload tracking software on phone to log trips
Able to sit in a vehicle for various periods of time.
Able to lift, push, pull and carry materials, equipment and supplies of various weights.
Possess specific vision abilities; close vision, distance, and capable of adjusting focus.
During inclement weather, must be able to shovel, push snow with a snow broom and operate a snow blower.
Valid Driver's License
Accident free in the last 3 years
Must pass a background check and drug screen
No history of traffic violations in last 3 years
Part-time position under 1,000 hours per year
Able to safely drive vehicles
Good communication skills
Good customer services skills
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedure
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Ability to interact well with others
Exceptional attention to detail
Works well in a team environment
Able to work will with a diverse group of people
Medium Work- lifting, pulling or pushing up to 50 pounds occasionally, or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, or 10 pounds of constantly as required to move objects
This position requires the ability to stand, sit, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and grasp
This position requires the ability to talk and hear
This position works in a covered area but will also work outside at times and could experience heat and cold, hazards and noise
Standard Business Hours with ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
High School Diploma or equivalent; three months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license
Ability to meet insurance requirements for driving positions

Drive vehicles to and from destinations as assigned.
Able to manage time and follow routes for a streamlined delivery experience.
Operate all vehicles in a safe manner in compliance with state and local laws.
Flexible with scheduling to accommodate last minute requests.
Comfortable driving long distances on the highway or in poor weather conditions.
Able to drive and park in the city.
Comfortable driving various makes and models of vehicles, including manual transmissions.
Must be customer service oriented, caring, and have a high level of integrity and a passion for success.
