In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative web solutions using Drupal, contributing to the development of both back-end and front-end processes, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness. As a Drupal Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of CMS. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining CMS web applications, which assist in the fighting of healthcare fraud MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT: Support Technical Lead in developing, enhancing, and maintaining both existing and new web applications (Drupal).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in Drupal development (Drupal 10 preferred)
Experience with Drupal theming and module development.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with cloud hosting services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Experience using Visual Studio Code for writing, editing, and debugging.
Experience using Active Directory to organize, manage, and secure network resources.
Understanding of Agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira/Confluence).

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications in Drupal development are a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for web development.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Drupal websites, modules, and themes following best practices and coding standards.
Customize Drupal core functionality and contributed modules to meet project requirements.
Work on API integrations and custom solutions using PHP and Drupal services.
Implement responsive and user-friendly designs using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other frameworks.
Develop and optimize database structures using MySQL or equivalent database systems.
Work closely with project managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects.
