Ability to operate press machines and finishing equipment safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality garment presentation Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle garments carefully Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Dependable and punctual Previous garment-pressing or dry-cleaning experience and familiarity with steam presses or shirt-buck operations are preferred but not required. WHAT VITAL ASSISTANCE DO YOU PROVIDE? The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, though some days may start as early as 7:00 AM depending on volume, with additional shifts on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. As a Dry Cleaning Presser at Collins Cleaners, you will start your day by preparing and operating specialized pressing equipment, including the Unipress Lightning shirt buck and related steam or press machines. Throughout your shift, you will press shirts, pants, jackets, dresses, and other garments to remove wrinkles and create a crisp, professional finish. You will carefully inspect each item before and after pressing, ensuring any wrinkles, stains, or damage are addressed to meet our high standards. You will follow garment care labels and company protocols to set the correct heat and pressure, and then hang, fold, tag, and prepare finished garments for packaging and delivery.
