About The Position

A Dryer Operator loads and unloads small to large dryers. This position tags and labels linen according to customer specifications from tunnel dryers.

Requirements

Ability to read and write English.
Quality orientation and high attention to detail
Meet production and safety standards for the position.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Strong teamwork skills- ready and willing to work closely with team members
Open, and able, to work day or night shifts, and willing to rotate shifts depending on production needs
Open to long hours and working weekends (Saturday/Sunday) when necessary
Pass a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

Place wet, washed linen into an automatic dryer.
Dryers are automated and start when loaded
Manually remove the laundry when the drying cycle is completed.
Collect and transfer the dry and/or partially dry linen to the next department for processing.
Read computer codes to label and color code linen by customer
Remove lint and clean dryer filters
Demonstrates friendly and respectful behavior in the work environment
Assis an any necessary job duty as instructed by Management
Additional duties as assigned
Perform job rotation as required.
