Champion Home Builder, Inc wants YOU! We are seeking to hire a Production Worker with drywall and sheetrock experience to join our team in the Ocala, FL facility.

Summary Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner. Specifically applying Drywall Finishing and / or Sheetrock skills to the interior of the homes.

Requirements

• Must have a strong work ethic
• Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
• Must understand safety procedures
• Must have good teamwork skills
• Must live the Champion Operating Principles
• Must have 2 years of Drywall experience.
• Must be able to pass a 7 Panel Drug Screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in manufacturing housing desired.

Responsibilities

• Able to apply mud on 1st and 2nd coats with a high degree of quality.
• Flexibility and willingness to perform other duties in addition to tape and texture.
• Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
• Keeps area neat and clean.
• Must work well with others as a team and be able to take direction to accomplish goals.
• Highly productive & motivated with a sense of urgency to meet a demanding work schedule.
• Punctual with good attendance.
• Must pay particular attention to safety and quality.
• Read blueprints and orders
• Communicate well with coworkers
