Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience performing commercial / retail drywall projects; skilled in drywall finishing, including taping, mudding, and patchwork
  • Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead, delegate, and motivate teams
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to construction activities
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to read and interpret drawings / blueprints
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites across the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • current OSHA 30 certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and work alongside the drywall crew to complete taping, mudding, and extensive patch work; deliver high-quality finishes on fast-paced projects, ensuring surfaces are smooth, uniform, and ready for paint.
  • Read, interpret, and lay out work from blueprints and construction documents.
  • Plan and coordinate daily/weekly work, including manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure high‑quality application, productivity, and jobsite organization from mobilization through punch list.
  • Work closely with project managers, superintendents, GCs, and other trades to maintain schedule and resolve field issues.
  • Monitor crew performance, delegate tasks, and provide training and guidance as needed.
  • Track and report job progress, labor, material usage, and any issues affecting production.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting daily safety meetings, and correcting hazards immediately.
  • Coordinate inspections, address deficiencies, and document resolutions.
  • Manage subcontractor activity, verify understanding of scopes, and ensure all workforce and subcontractor sign‑ins, time sheets, and documentation are accurate and submitted on time.
  • Oversee projects from mobilization through punch list, ensuring workmanship meets contract documents and client expectations.
  • Travel nationwide to project sites across the United States as required.
