About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing Project Manager / Estimator to manage projects from pre-bid analysis through final closeout. This position blends detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, and proposal development with full-cycle project management to ensure drywall scopes are completed safely, on schedule, and within financial targets. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in commercial drywall and metal stud framing, along with the leadership ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in commercial drywall and/or metal framing construction
Strong background in estimating, budgeting, and cost management
Ability to manage multiple active projects and shifting deadlines
Solid understanding of commercial construction sequencing and coordination
Professional communication skills in client-facing environments
Experience with estimating and project management software preferred
Valid driver’s license with ability to visit job sites as needed

Responsibilities

Lead commercial drywall and metal framing projects from contract award to completion
Prepare comprehensive takeoffs, labor projections, and competitive bid packages
Coordinate field superintendents, subcontractors, and material deliveries
Build and maintain project schedules aligned with general contractor timelines
Manage budgets, forecast costs, and track change orders
Oversee field progress to maintain quality standards and job-site safety compliance
Serve as primary contact for general contractors regarding scope, scheduling, and cost updates
Ensure smooth handoff from estimating and preconstruction into field execution
Maintain accurate documentation and project reporting
