Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field required; B.Arch or M.Arch accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET-accredited college/university preferred
  • 8+ years of relevant due diligence/building facilities consulting experience required
  • Experience with Property/Facility Condition Assessments and Facility Needs Assessments required

Nice To Haves

  • Registered Architect or Professional Engineer licensure is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Testing and consulting services for the built environment: property/facility condition assessments, facility needs assessments, pre- & post-construction surveys, and accessibility assessments, among other facilities-related services
  • Requires a commitment to lead and mentor a team of facilities due diligence engineers, architects and project managers
  • Oversee projects and perform technical report reviews, prepare proposals and management of the departments and group related P&L
  • Exhibit responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation
  • Ability to independently solve day-to-day problems on projects with limited direction or involvement from executive staff
  • Review technical deliverables, invoices, and field reports
  • Interact, train, and mentor junior staff members (both as a technical resource and supervisor)
  • Participate/lead business development initiatives within the operating group(s)
  • Assist with recruiting and maintaining an adequate staff level in your group
