About The Position

Our eCommerce operation is divided into multiple departments, and we are currently seeking team members with a specific passion and knowledge to work within our comic, book and pop culture department. This position will be responsible for researching, identifying and photographing items by specific category to prepare them for listing on our Ecommerce website, Shopgoodwill.com/md

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous online business experience and/or product knowledge required
  • Ability to complete tasks and assignments with numerous interruptions and little direct supervision
  • Computer aptitude and research skills required
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person and on the telephone
  • Ability to understand verbal instructions
  • Attention to detail and diligence to meet daily production goals
  • Commitment to team building and improvement processes

Responsibilities

  • Sorts through unique items and products with the ability to identify specific items, designers and maker’s marks through use of web-based research and collaboration.
  • Authenticate, evaluate, research, and prepare a variety of items for online listings by creating accurate brief product descriptions.
  • Meets or exceeds daily production goals.
  • Maintains compliance with all safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Promotes the mission and values of Goodwill.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
