Your Impact Responsible for ensuring daily contract compliance to project plans and specifications on construction projects and maintaining documentation to support quality specifications, payment, and project acceptance. Read, understand, and interpret project plans and contract documents. Identify possible issues in contract documents and propose solutions or refer them to the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator as appropriate. Acts as liaison to monitor communication and exchange of information between the project manager, engineering team, management, contractors, and vendors. Coordinate all internal and external communication relative to the project. Assists in the review of the contractor’s project schedule and estimates resource and material requirements; maintain respective planning and scheduling updates throughout project life cycle. Works closely with project administrators and project manager to prepare reports detailing project costs, progress, risks, and opportunities for review by senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Entry Level 0 to 1 year of experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to include technical writing and oral communication.
  • Ability to work as a team is essential.
  • Ability to work in this country immediately required.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Nice To Haves

  • WisDOT, County and Local Municipality policies and procedures preferred but not required.
  • Hold WisDOT certifications in PCC, Aggregate, and Grading Technician preferred but not required.
