About The Position

As an Early Preschool Substitute Teacher you are responsible for a classroom of children 2 - 3 years of age. You will provide a nurturing and safe environment working collaboratively with your partner Teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom. You will demonstrate good judgement in the care of each child assigned to you. You will verbally engage the children throughout the day in addition to incorporating activities.

Requirements

• 12 completed ECE semester units (or 18 quarter units), including coursework in: Child Growth and Development Child, Family, and Community Program/Curriculum
• OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Professional, dependable, and flexible
• Passion for working with young children
