About The Position
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Responsible for performing complete echo exams on patients as ordered by physicians . Responsible for submitting reports to physicians and immediately reporting any emergent findings. Responsible for performing computer back-up to the Echo-Pac for storage of reports . Performs work-in exams as ordered by the physician. Resolves problems in department and ensures compliance with regulations and standards. Works with medical staff to ensure quality patient are and services are provided, Maintains Licensures and certifications. Maintains strictest confidentiality. Performs related work as . Practices and adhere to HIPPA regulations . Qualifications and Specifications Education-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. 2-3 years if full-time echocardiography experience. Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems. Skills in planning and organizing . Skills in verbal and written communications. Skills in researching, preparing, presenting reports to physicians when requested. Ability to take initiative and to exercise judgment, decision-making and problem solving expertise. Ability to work effectively with physicians, staff, patients, public and external agencies .
Requirements
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- 2-3 years if full-time echocardiography experience
