MRI Technologies has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) Water Team – Project/Test Engineer on the JETS II contract at NASA Johnson Space Center. In this role, you will research, develop, and test water recovery technologies for crewed spacecraft, supporting the Artemis Program and long-duration deep space exploration missions. Working in this role, you will be embedded with an interdisciplinary team of engineers and scientists at the forefront of human spaceflight. A typical day involves developing test plans and procedures for water processing hardware, running experiments in a laboratory environment, collaborating with JSC organizations to advance flight certification activities, and presenting results to the project team. In the morning you may be procuring hardware and reviewing fabrication drawings; in the afternoon you could be compiling and analyzing test data or contributing to a design review. The work is hands-on, technically diverse, and directly tied to keeping astronauts safe and healthy in space. What We Are Looking For
